That moment was so devastating because it validated a deeper, more painful lie he was already living with due to his father’s abandonment: the lie that he wasn’t “enough” and was unworthy of being loved. Believing this, he stopped dreaming, and his grades, relationships, and life choices suffered.

Today, Eddie uses that experience to inspire change.
